Class 3, the final class of the summer session. Friends Peter and Cristina help the class build their decks.
We are planing on including a longboard class for next year at the Hui.

We are planing on including a longboard class for next year at the Hui.
This class put on by the city of Temecula was amazing. Their first time building decks, John the instructor had his hands full with like 27 kids in the class. The results are great looking at the happy faces and the decks they built. They will be offering these classes next year with smaller class sizes.

Here is another set of happy deckbuilders that Gint and Leanne taught this summer at Fleming College in Haliburton.
This class was very successful this year.
Gint and Leanne taught 2 classes of 16 students.
These courses are offered through Fleming Colleges summer program.

Tried out the speed series in Maui and to my surprise did pretty well, I won the masters division with a top speed of 31.7 knots in light winds.

Results NAVMAN Speed Challenge
This is a picture from a slalom race at Kanaha State Park in Maui. Thats me jibing at the first mark of the downwind race. I managed to win the race and ended up with this picture in the local paper.
