New Deck…RED is right.
I have been wanting to build a new shape using our kit and the stack of uncut veneers sitting in stock. Its been all work and no play lately so I decided to build a deck to ease the tension…working on this made me feel sane again.

The hardware is not attached yet and as I really dislike the standard 4 bolt holes in normal decks….look out.
I tried to make the deck a little wider than our pintail. Wanted to make it easy to ride. It sort of looks like a snowboard shape with a little camber and rocker happening.

I love black grip tape. It is so great to work with. Really loved working with it when I did the carbon pintail and cutout comic deck…so it was a treat to play around with it on this one.

  1. Have to share your love of grip tape. Been working on a design using your kit that will be in the snow and water and standard Jessup grip over EVA foam is amazing. A sample piece of grip over foam was soaked in water for over a day and after being removed and dried off it was folded, spindled and mutilated. Holds up great.
