This is a fantastic story. Craig Morrisson at the Arts & Social Change Program at Oasis Alternative Secondary School in Toronto Canada over the last two years has developed a great program. They have transformed one of their classrooms into a skateboard/longboard design studio where students are running a skateboard building and graphic design cooperative business.
